This afternoon a friend from Anchorage came down to cross country ski and brought his kids and son's girlfriend.
I didn't notice until I looked at the pictures later but because of the snow and quality of light, the day looked totally blue!

All told, our trip was about five miles with lots of ups and downs. This is pretty good considering that one person in our group had never been on skis before!

I have noticed that my pictures will take on a blue hue right after a snowstorm. I am curious…how much daylight do you get now? We will gain 4 minutes this week and that is what made me think of you.
